SAIR Named the Ignite Peace 2024 Youth Justice Award Winner

October 2024 – SAIR was honored to receive Ignite Peace's 2024 Youth Justice Award at their Annual Gathering this month. This award was established in 2022 to honor the visionary and innovative efforts of young people in the work for peace and justice. It is given to a club, group, or extracurricular program of high school students who have made a dedicated effort to promote justice in Greater Cincinnati.

Ignite Peace (formerly Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center) educates and advocates for peace, challenges unjust systems, and promotes the creation of a nonviolent society.

We are incredibly grateful to Ignite Peace for this recognition and for our partnership with Sheryl Rajbhandari and Heartfelt Tidbits who have made much of our work in the immigrant and refugee community possible.
