Inaugural Trailblazers Trek Walkathon Raises $6,000 for College Scholarship!

April, 2024.  On April 20, 2024, SAIR, in partnership with Heartfelt Tidbits, Inc., hosted the inaugural Trailblazers Trek color walkathon.  We welcomed over one hundred participants on a beautiful, sunny, spring morning. Together, we walked, played with lots of color (!), celebrated with families, made new friends, and had a great time!  

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, walkers, and a Hershey Heartwarming Hero Grant we surpassed our original goal of $5,000, raising over $6,000!  The money raised will go to an education scholarship for a first-generation college student attending college in Fall 2024.  The deserving student will be selected based on an interview and an essay submission.

We are very excited to see how the Trailblazers Trek will grow in the future and how it will support a new generation of students looking to attend college.
